2009
The painting “Adobe Shadows” won the Third Place award in the professional category at the 60th Annual National Art Show of the Wind River Valley Artist’s Guild exhibition held in Dubois, Wyoming. The invitational show is open to artists of all medias nationwide.
2008
The painting “Peek-a-Boo” won the Linda Merkle Memorial award at Mid-Southern Watercolorist’s 39th Annual Exhibition in Little Rock, Arkansas. The painting was also selected by the Arkansas Arts Center as one of eighteen paintings for their Annual Statewide Traveling Exhibition.
2007
The painting “Day’s Work Done” earned the artist “Signature Status” by being accepted into the Southwestern Watercolor Society’s Annual Open Juried Exhibition in Dallas, Texas. This award is a prestigious recognition of his mastery of watercolor by having a minimum of five paintings accepted into the Society’s open juried exhibitions.
